Privacy policy

Nockapp is an archery scoring and training app for iPhone, iPad and Android. Without an account, everything you record stays on your device and nothing is sent anywhere. An account is optional.

If you create an account

We store the following on Nockapp's server (Google Cloud, Singapore) so it's on all your devices and, if you choose, available to your coach:

• your email address and name, and a password hash if you sign up with email;
• your profile: club, home venue, bow style, handedness, classification, draw length, start date, weekly goals, bio, and a profile photo if you add one;
• your scorecards, training plans, gear, events, custom rounds and challenges, including any notes, venue names and weather you type in.

Coaching

If you show someone your coaching code, they can see and change your scores and training plans, see your progress and the rounds you've set up, and see your profile. They can't see your gear, events or challenges. You can remove a coach at any time, and they lose access straight away. If you coach someone, they can see your profile but none of your records.

What we don't do

No advertising, no analytics, and no tracking across other apps or websites. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use your location.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections and is encrypted where it's stored. To keep the service running and secure, our hosting provider logs IP addresses for 30 days, and we use them for about a day to limit repeated sign-in attempts.

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Profile → Your data → Delete account, or use the account deletion page. Your account closes immediately, and everything stored with it is erased from our server within 30 days. Anything on your device stays there until you delete the app. Official event results that include you keep your name and score, as for any competition.

Children

Nockapp isn't directed at children under 13.
